You will get a broad responsibility related to the customer cycle, where your communication regarding needs and possible solutions is the recipe for success.

YOU ARE
You are accomplished in application maintenance and as a seasoned professional your knowledge in Linux/Unix OS reside within your core competence. You hold scripting abilities e.g. Bash, Perl or Python and your understanding of TCP/IP is well-rounded. Some DB work is also part of your portfolio of experience. It is considered a great merit to be knowledgeable in security issues, such as encryption (it is a PCI-DSS environment), surveillance, along with cloud-solutions and virtualization e.g. AWS and Azure.
YOU WILL
You will work throughout the customer cycle, which means that you, as part of a team, will be engaged in everything from design of a solution/platform to its implementation, with a focus on the applications and in close communication with a range of customers. You will work with a variety of projects based on new needs/requests of the customers- it is your responsibility to optimize, monitor, govern and facilitate the smooth development and maintenance of the applications and operating systems- projects that you will document and then hand over to the Operations Centre.
You will work with senior colleagues, as a technical advisor, and it is the ambition of Basefarm that you transition into a Technical Account Manager, with greater responsibility towards the customers, combining your expertise with an increased mandate to influence.
