The challenge
As an Application Support Specialist at WirelessCar you will be part of securing that the agreed Service Levels are maintained towards the customers helping them stay ahead and supply attractive and reliable services - now and in the future. Together with your team you are responsible for the support and service monitoring for all WirelessCar' customers.

Who you are

We believe that you bring:
Academic degree within Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or other relevant area or equivalent knowledge obtained in other ways
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience

Needed Competence:
Strong Shell script programming knowledge (Proficient in Python/Perl/Ruby is a plus)
Strong Linux knowledge
Good DB knowledge (SQL, NoSQL or similar)
Good understanding of Support methodologies (ITIL)
Customer support experience
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Fluent English skills, in both speech and writing is a requirement

Valuable Competence:
AWS/Cloud Environment
JIRA Service Desk
Experience with Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum), Continuous Integration/Delivery, Automated Deployment and System/Service monitoring
Configuration tools like Ansible, Puppet, SaltStack, etc.
Knowledge in web server, middleware, message queue, Jenkins, Git, Nagios/Zabbix, Graphite, Grafana, ELK and other common open source application bundle
