Nanoxis AB in Göteborg, Sweden, is looking for an application specialist for the R&D department with potential business development and marketing responsibilities. The successful applicant will benefit from the opportunity to take lead in various projects, in a flexible environment at an expanding young biotech company.
The responsibilities for the position at Nanoxis include application development, application collaborations and customer interactions.
More specifically, this may include taking lead or be a part of application development projects, set up and manage scientific collaborations with academic and/ or industrial partners or taking part of the service projects that Nanoxis provides to customers.
Moreover, responsibilities will include supporting the marketing and business developing team with scientific marketing material and take part of customer contact and interaction.
Future responsibilities may involve other parts of the daily workload at Nanoxis, such as product development and bioinformatics.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Laboratory experience, preferably of membrane proteins, membrane preparations, mass spectrometry, cell culturing
• Preferred experience of applications within biotechnology and pharmacology research
• Preferred experience of customer relations and marketing
• Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritise workload with attention to detail
• Team player with good cooperation skills
• Client focused approach to work
• Able to take initiative and work independently
• Good communication skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English
Education
PhD or M.Sc. degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, chemistry (analytic, physical) or similar, preferably with some work experience.
