We are looking for an application specialist to join the IT operations Revenue team. The team consists of nine persons who are responsible for operating and maintaining the systems that support our revenue generation and collection processes, such as our mediation, rating, billing, and payments systems.
About the role
As an application specialist, your primary focus will be our billing system Singleview, but you will also work with the rest of our systems in the Revenue area. Your responsibilities are to monitor and maintain the availability, reliability, and security of our IT systems and services in production. You will work on resolving incidents and problems quickly and effectively, following best practices and procedures. As new functionality is constantly delivered from our IT development department, you will ensure it runs well with maximum performance by improving monitoring, alerting, and suggesting enhancements to improve system efficiency, functionality, and quality.

Who you are
You have experience in a similar role to succeed in the position. You have a burning interest in IT and technology with a curiosity to learn new things every day. You are practical, hands-on, and comfortable working with common IT development and administration tools, Linux, and Oracle SQL.
Since you will work closely with both the development teams and the business organization, you can easily get into in-depth technical details and convey pedagogically the essence of the message for internal users working towards the customer. Being a structured and analytical problem solver comes naturally for you. You are motivated by new challenges.
