Enterprise IT & Operations are responsible for ensuring that our IT systems in production work optimally and meet the requirements for, but not limited to, security, performance, and stability. From hardware and operating systems to databases and IT applications. The ERP team's areas of responsibility mainly span over our business-related systems and processes in finance, logistics, and HR.
More about the role
As an Application Specialist, you will be a part of a team of about 15 committed and friendly co-workers. The team has implemented "DevOps methodology" which means that, even if your base is in development, you need an open mindset that includes system management and improvement work within the team's area of responsibility. It can involve system monitoring, alarm handling, and troubleshooting in production environments. Furthermore, it includes analyzing problems to resolve error reports and customer complaints. The role is very varied and, is perfect if you want to work broadly in this field.
You will be part of an agile development- and systems management team consisting of roles like business analysts, developers, system administrators, testers, and a product owner. You will be able contribute with insights and ideas about how we continuously improve our working methods, processes, and tools. Do you think alone is strong? No, neither do we. More about you
To thrive in the role, we believe you have a burning interest in IT and a curiosity to learn something new every day. You can quickly familiarize yourself with in-depth technical details to then convey the core of the message in an educational way to internal users who work with the customers. You have a few years of experience in a similar role, and you are used to communicating in English.
Regarding the technical experience you need to have strong knowledge about Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite), Oracle Fusion HCM, and IDM (Identity Management). We currently support and develop primarily, but are not limited to, products from Oracle.
We have a relatively complex "on-prem" installation of Oracle E-business Suite and we currently work with finance and logistics modules in version R12. It is an advantage if you have experience with similar solutions in a cloud environment.
