Do you want to apply your hematology experience towards digital cell morphology instrumentation? CellaVision is now looking to strengthenthe Applications teamwith an Application Specialist.
What you will do
As anApplication Specialist at CellaVision,you get a unique opportunity to participate in our development of leading systems for routine analysis of blood and other body fluids in health care services. With yourlaboratory and hematology experience, you will contribute to our development projects andthe continuous improvement ofhigh quality pre-classificationsas important reference data for fast and correct patient diagnosis.
You will be part ofthe Applicationsteam, specialized in programming, image analysis and machine learning to provide the team with valuable input from a clinical perspective.
The position includes the following tasks:
• Collect and organize database slides used to train CellaVision applications.
• Plan, execute and evaluate internal classification tests.
• Classify cells in the expert database.
• Assessing image quality from a clinical perspective.
• Responsible for the teams contact with hospitals and veterinary clinics.
• Recruiting external experts for classificationand administering their classification work.
The position is a permanent employment based at CellaVision headquarters in Lund.

Need to have
• Medical Laboratory Technologist Diploma, or equivalent degree, specialized in clinical chemistry
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the hematology field and working with cell morphology
• Very good verbal and written English
• Good knowledgein Microsoft Office programs
Nice to have
• Experience in using CellaVision instruments
• Experience from the veterinary field
• Experience with statistical methods
