Roche Diagnostics in Sweden is looking for an Application Specialist to further strengthen the Professional Diagnostics business, reporting to the Assay Manager Professional Diagnostics in Sweden. As an Application Specialist you will be responsible for trouble shooting, customer training and supporting the whole sales process. This role requires frequent traveling and we prefer you to be based in Stockholm or Skåne.

Education
Relevant academic degree within a scientific area.
Work Experience
A minimum of 2 years working experience as an application specialist or other relevant experience within life sciences or healthcare is required. Preferably also some experience from a routine laboratory. It is an advantage if you have experience from Clinical Chemistry or Near Patient Testing.
Functional Competencies
You have an understanding of the health care system and an interest in developing a deeper knowledge of the Swedish diagnostics/healthcare market. Experience from working within sales, marketing and IT is an advantage. Your working style is structured and accurate and you have a history of working in projects. You are also a genuine problem solver and an extrovert person who enjoys having many contacts in your daily work. You should be a person who enjoys combining the scientific questions and working with customers and sales.

Your focus is to create value, serve as a role model for the organization and deliver results. You are open-minded with an eagerness to innovate, learn and change. You are very independent in your work and like taking initiative. It is also important that you are a team player that likes it when contributing to the group and working towards the same goal.

You have excellent communications skills in both Swedish and English. This position requires a lot of travelling, why it is important that this is something that you would enjoy and that would suit your daily life today.
