Industry Application Specialist
In the field of industrial microbiology

CONTEXT OF THE JOB AND MAJOR CHALLENGES
The Application Specialist (AS) is responsible for customer satisfaction through continuos training programe and customer relationship management in their geographical territory. The AS is also responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers so that existing business is protected, and potential new business opportunities can be identified.
The AS is expected to work as a team with the Product Specialist in prospecting for business opportunities with new and existing customers. The AS must have very good interpersonal, communication, presentation, technical and troubleshooting skills along with good product-market knowledge to succeed.
You are a link between our internal global support organization and our customers. You keep our customers updated with the latest information and working with our technicians in updating instrument. You are also responsible for the implementation of user sessions.
We are ISO 9001 certified and your work is done under our quality management system (QMS).
Will be valuable to have training in microbiology and/or work from the Industrial microbiological laboratory or the equivalent is creditable. You must be a problem solver that is capable of managing many projects simultaneously.
The activities involve a lot of travelling and the number of travel days per year may amount to about 60 %.
You will report directly to the Industry Business Manager.
District: All Nordics
Proficiency in Microsoft office, Word, Powerpoint and Excel and a valid drivers licence (B-körkort) are basic requirements for this position.
Desirable background and characteristics:
• Knowledge in Industrial microbiological laboratory or equivalent
• High technical skills and social skills
• Ability to take initiative, work independently and result-oriented
• Mastery of Swedish and English in speech and writing
• As an applicant for this position you would need to be a citizen in Gothenburg or nearby community.
We offer to the right candidate one year contract in an organization which is in a strongly expansive phase, we have high ceilings and an open atmosphere with nice staff.
