hela Sverige The Application Support within Tetra Pak BULF is responsible for the development of technological solutions and global support to market companies & customers. Centrifugal Separation is a unique area where mechanical excellence combined with deep knowledge of separator applications is a key to our leadership in liquid food processing technology.
As an Application Specialist Dairy Separators within the Application Support you will work with centrifugal separator applications with a focus on whey and whey products, understand customer needs and give input to the product development process. You will work independently as well as a part of a team, supporting on resolving of technological issues. When working with our market companies and customer you will become part of a broad network. Approx. 25% travel is included in the position.
Main responsibilities
• Drive application- and process knowledge
• Participate in development of new equipment and technological processes
• Project- and application support to our market companies, BU's and Customers
• Verification of technical/technological solutions utilizing centrifugal separators
• Assist market companies in trouble shooting process problems
• Support of Area Sales Managers and Marketing activities
Qualifications
We are looking for a person with strong Dairy- and Microbiological skills. We see that you have the ability to build relationships and gain trust from customers. You are a team player but could work independently. In addition, you enjoy challenges and being out meeting customers.
The successful candidate has a Master Degree in Dairy Technologies and/or Engineering, combined with work experience from the Field. It is important that you have knowledge in milk/whey processing, as well as a good technical understanding.
You need to understand the physical, microbiological and chemical behaviour of dairy products. Having worked in a cheeses plant is a merit. As our customers will be from all over the world, a very good command of English, both written and oral is required. Knowledge in other languages is a merit.
