Description
The Centrifugal Separation Team within Tetra Pak Processing Components AB is responsible for product management, development of technical solutions and global support to market companies. Centrifugal Separation is a unique area where mechanical excellence combined with deep knowledge of separator applications is a key to our leadership in liquid food processing technology.
As an Application Specialist within the Centrifugal separation team you will work with centrifuge applications for manufacture of dairy products, understand customer needs, make the equipment optimal for the best customer value and give input to new requirements for R&D. You will work independently as well as a part of the team with support and technical issues. When working with our market companies and customer you will become part of a broad network.
Main responsibilities
• Participate in development of new equipment and processes.
• Verification of technical solutions utilizing separators
• Support on-site in commissioning of new products
• Project and application support to our market companies and customers
• Assist market companies in trouble shooting process problems
• Drive process and application knowledge build-up
Qualifications
We are looking for a person with strong analytical skills. We see that you have the ability to build relationships and gain trust from customers. You are seen as a team player but have the ability to work independently. In addition you enjoy challenges and being out meeting customers.
The successful candidate has a technical education combined with at least 5 years work experience from the dairy business. It is important that you have knowledge in dairy technology and dairy processes as well as a good technical understanding. You need to understand the physical, microbiological and chemical behaviour of dairy products. Having worked with customers is a merit.
As our customers will be from all over the world; a very good command of English, both written and oral is required. Knowledge in other languages is a merit.
Approx. 25% travel is included in the position.
