On behalf of our client we are now on the look-out for a driven Packaging Specialist and Deployment Resource that will be assisting clients at the company's Business Unit. This is a project role that will run until the end of the year 2023, starting ASAP.
ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION
As the Packaging Specialist for the competence area Application Packaging you will be part of the team that is responsible for packaging process of the clients at our Business Units. This means being part of the operational process and doing the administrative tasks. You will be working closely together with Solution Design, Service Management, Product Service Delivery Manager (CAR) and all other IT departments. In this role you will maintain contacts and a relationship with the different stakeholder around the different tools and its user groups.
WORKING AREAS Perform package dispatcher tasks as are application setup documentation, application testing, mainly handled via AMO portal.
Perform mass application distributions and removals via the application deployment system Intune / SCCM
Maintain packaged applications in related systems as are: Client Software catalogue, Active Directory
Work with the ticket allocation system BMC-Remedy
Handle of mainly PowerShell, but also VBS, BAT, scripts
Troubleshooting tasks around MSI / App-V / MSIX package related issues
Create Reports and templates reports in SQL, Power BI
Support Technical Product Roadmaps
Support Incidents, Problem Management, Critical Incidents, etc.

DO YOU POSSES THE FOLLOWING?
Among personal qualifications you have an internal capacity to move things forward, is easy going and have good communication skills. Besides, you are strong in process management and have a helicopter view and furthermore recognize yourself in the following profile: 5-10 years' experience in IT
High experience in application packaging and PowerShell scripting
Experienced in creating / maintaining a managed enterprise client
Knowledge in Microsoft related Client/Server/Cloud products
Knowledge and experience with MDT / SCCM / Intune and other deployment technologies
Experience in handling ITIL processes
Good knowledge in IT security
A proven ability to communicate with technical experts, customers and other stakeholders
Ability to manage stakeholder at times of conflicting interests
A very good ability to work independently on assignments within a set timetable, sets own priorities
The ability to build trust and confidence and to be a team player in an international team
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
