hela Sverige We are now looking for an Application Specialist to Product&Production, Assurance Services organization within Telia IT. In Product&Production we continuously consolidate and develop our OSS backend systems, thereby, Simplicity and Automation are driving our activities to support our business and stakeholders in the most efficient way. We are looking for motivated drivers to succeed in our journey.
Your next challenge?
As an Application Specialist you will have the direct operational responsibility for our target workflow solution engine used for Telia's Service Assurance processes e2e, reaching from countries' Customer Operations to e.g. field services e2e. You will be working within a wide range of diverse technologies and integrated systems e2e. Typical daily tasks involve system maintenance activities, incident and problem resolutions, system life cycle management tasks. Additionally, you will have a key role when it comes to system & landscape design, thus assisting stakeholders in IT and business in the decision-making process to secure quality and customer satisfaction.
In this key position you will be co-creating the further direction of our highly skilled Agile DevOps team supporting Telia's Service Assurance business area with high-quality, cutting-edge IT services. You will be part of a multi-national team within Telia IT, where your skills are valued, opinions taken into account, and constant drive for and delivery of improvements recognized and rewarded all the way through.
Responsibilities
Work together with the whole Production Assurance Capability team to secure and maintain the Service Levels towards our stakeholders.
Incident, Problem and Change Management within the workflow solution ecosystem e2e.
Problem solving with a proactive/preventative approach.
Take on the Application Specialist role in projects, assist teams with technical expertise.
Deploy and configure changes within the application landscape.
Continuously keep technical documentation up to date.
Who are you?
You have a technical background, university degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. You are excellent in structured communication oral/written, and making things happen. You feel comfortable having your own dedicated responsibilities and understand the importance in delivering quality and being thorough. You like to solve tasks as an individual or in virtual teams, where the ambition is to grow together with the team to a high level in DevOps maturity. You are able to work unhampered in English and Swedish, both written and verbally. You are positive and open for new ideas and changes and can present them structured way to stakeholders.
Knowledge of and experience in:
BMC Remedy v.9 incl. TrueSight Orchestrator administration is a must.
BMC tools' user management, configuration, solution security, technical architecture.
General BMC Remedy development experience / Certification in Remedy development is a plus.
Java and integrations (APIs, Rest, SOAP, APIG, XML, JSON, Jenkins, Webservices, Spring Framework, Struts, Jira, Best Practices).
Cloud Deployment & testing tools Git, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, Bitbucket, SVN, Maven, JUnit, Selenium.
ITIL, IM/PM/CM support processes.
General networking and database technologies like TCP/IP networking and SQL.
