hela Sverige We are currently looking for an Application Specialist with a solid background in large scale downstream purification processes with focus on buffer preparation and chromatography applications to support our Customized Bioprocess Solutions portfolio.Essential Responsibilities:In this role you will participate in the development of chromatography and buffer preparation technologies such as Inline Dilution, Inline Conditioning, PCC, and STP from an application perspective, including hands-on studiesYou will establish functional and application requirements both on hardware and software for large-scale customized bioprocess equipmentYou will perform hands-on application studies in collaboration with customers and also provide internal and external trainings, including demo activitiesThe ideal candidate uses market and product knowledge to assist cross-functional team in developing process understanding, translating customer process needs into technical requirements and provides sales supportYou will act as activity leader of department activities within a projectInstallation and commissioning of bioprocess equipment on customer sites may occur which involve travel.For questions regarding the position, please contact recruiting manager Ioana Erlandsson, tel. +46 73 868 09 22 or e-mail:

You have a genuine technical and problem solving skills combined with a strong drive and customer focus.. You are comfortable working at a high pace and to deliver quality on short notice. You have experience from working in a project driven organization and thrive in an environment that offers daily technical challenges.M.S./BSc or above in biotech, chemistry or life sciences or equivalent knowledge or experience and major relevant experience in Life Sciences or Biopharma industry Hands-on experience in protein purification, including familiarity with process design and scale-up for chromatography operations Experience with AKTA chromatography systems and software Advanced knowledge of equipment and procedures relating to protein purificationExperience in writing URS for downstream purification equipment Good knowledge of GxP policies and procedures; basic knowledge of regulatory requirements of the pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industryDemonstrated understanding of cross-functional needs and interdependencies to successfully deliver a customized product Excellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishThe ability to speak the "technical language" of the customerThe ability to work according to own initiative and to meet deadlines and targetsExcellent inter-personal and communication skills
