The founders are still major shareholders in the company. We have entered a new phase where we have altered our business model from selling our products through partners to selling our proprietary treatment planning system RayStation® directly to clinics.
We are currently recruiting two full time application specialists to join our service team based in the Stockholm head office.
THE POSITION
The service department at RaySearch Laboratories is an international team responsible for installation, support and education mainly for our European customers. We work closely to our service departments and distributors in the US, Europe, Asia and Australia.
As an application specialist you will specialize in the treatment planning system RayStation® with the main tasks to supply application support and perform training in the system to its users. The RayStation® users are primary our current customers at clinics around Europe but the Service Department also supports RaySearch other service departments and distributors in Europe, USA and in Asia. The position requires some travelling in Europe and globally and will include a lot of international contacts.
We are looking for a radiation dosimetrist or physicist with clinical experience from radiation therapy. You will be working with problem solving in collaboration with both users and RaySearch software developers. Training will be performed both in the office and on site as you assist the customer in taking the system into clinical use. You also assists the development department with input and suggested improvements from users. Demonstrations of the system at international conferences is also one of your tasks.
You are a good communicator, have the ability to identify and understand customer needs and an interest in keeping good long-term relationships. You can quickly adapt to new contexts and appreciate various environments. You are able to plan your work independently and take great responsibility.
QUALIFICATIONS
Medical dosimetrist or MSc in physics or engineering, preferably medical/radiation physics.
Clinical experience from a radiotherapy department, particularly from radiation treatment planning
Excellent communication skills
Experience from working with education and training is considered a merit
Experience from working with support is considered a merit
English is a required, other languages considered a merit
