Klarna is a rapidly growing financial company with high requirements on IT and Information security. We are currently looking for someone to join our Security Operations team (SecOps) and help us further develop in the area of Application Security (aka AppSec). We offer a fast-paced international working environment with smart and ambitious colleagues and the opportunity to play an important role in taking Klarna to the next level.
SecOps is working daily in line with securing Klarna's products and information by always having very close contact with our Product Development organization. We are expected to contribute with concrete and pragmatic solutions to difficult security problems that our software developers and operations engineers face every day.
If you are interested in building security in our products, not just as an add-on, and having fun sharing your knowledge and expertise while doing so, then we would love to have you on-board.
About you
In order to be successful in this role, you do not need to have years of experience in IT security but rather a genuine interest in it. What is more important is to enjoy working with challenging engineering problems and cooperating with other people while doing so, be self driven and humble while at the same time have very high ethical standards.
This role also requires:
Working experience in a DevOps environment/team
Ability to understand (and hopefully write) code
Solid scripting skills
Knowledge about integrating tools in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
We see it as a plus if you have:
A B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science
Experience in running complex infrastructure in cloud environments
Experience with containers technology (e.g., docker, K8, etc)
Experience with security testing
Experience with auditing source code
