Department 4215 Mainframe Application Production is a department within Service Runtime Management. The department is today consisting of 2 parts: one is delivering Application Production mainly in the Mainframe area and the other part delivers Database administration for different databases and applications.
We are now in the situation that we need to strengthen the Application Production Team with one Technical Specialist. Today the team consists of 10 employees working with scheduling, installation in production and more in the Mainframe area. As an Application Production Technical Specialist you will work with several of our internal and external customers, mainly within a Mainframe environment.
General:
We are mainly looking for an employee who can take on the challenge as an Application Production technician. In this work you need to have knowledge of running applications in a mainframe environment. Tools used today are, OPC, CICS, IMS etc.
As a member of this team you will work with deployment of application changes, incident resolving of batch and online abends. Work proactively to avoid incidents and keep system online as much as possible.
We look for an employee who is flexible and willing to take on tasks that are needed to be done to secure the right quality of an application.
This is a work where you need to be skilled technically and also like to document your work in support tools etc.
The work requires on call.

Qualifications and skills required:
You need to have at least two years of experience of working with Mainframe and experience of some tools, preferably OPC, CICS, IMS etc. You need to have a good understanding of system development and also experience of Change management tools.

The general qualifications are that you have an adequate academic qualification and that you are a communicative team-player. You also have to be proficient in both spoken and written English and Swedish.
