Delivery Management Sweden, Service Operation
Service Operation includes application operational services to keep existing applications up and running. It also contains support given to the Application Development and Application Maintenance Teams, starting with advice on choice of infrastructure technology in the early stages of development, all the way through to the deployment of the application in the production environment. Service Operation (SO) is the functional interface between the Application Delivery (AD) and Infrastructure Management & Operations (IMO) units.
We need an additional resource in Service Operation to handle application operation for the TDM (Total Document Management) which is a global content management platform and storage application. TDM is able to capture, author and manage all types of unstructured content as well as workflow management..
Key responsibilities
In cooperation with the TDM application developers maintenance the applications in Solaris and Linux environments Monitor applications and resources running on: Linux, Solaris, Oracle database, Apache, Java, Tomcat, etc. Troubleshoot and resolve application incidents in a complex environment involving multiple partners and suppliers Interact with the TDM application developers and install, update and upgrade applications
Create Unix scripts to run different tasks and monitor logfiles, disks, processes in the comprehensive production environments
Deploying products in the runtime environment and ensuring performance and quality targets
Identify and analysing problems in the test, QA and production environments and providing feedback to ensure the quality and performance Perform some evening and weekend work due to customer demands on service availability
Participating in projects as Service Operation representative
Work with Change, Problem and Incident Management
Who are you?
Good knowledge and skills in Linux/Solaris Operating System
Good knowledge in Oracle database and Unix script
Basic Network knowledge (TCP/IP)
Hardware infrastructure understanding
Storage and Backup understanding
Basic Apache, PL/SQL, Java and Tomcat knowledge
Basic Windows knowledge
Fluent in Swedish & English
Good communicative and cooperative skills
Commitment to customer delivery
