Business and Application Services (BAS); the division within Consumer & Enterprise Digital (CED) purposed to preserve, maintain and support Volvo Car Group's total application portfolio in the most effective, robust and secure way. If you are the right person for this job, you will play a key role for the company's applications portfolio within Material Planning & Logistics. You'll see how leveraging on the right tools, methods, processes, targets will drive positive change in our car plants. You'll thrive and as our new Application Manager, and you'll be the one who leads our applications in our Manufacturing Planning & logistics Systems.
What you'll do
You will be responsible to manage and secure both functionality and uptime of your appointed application(s). You will be a key link between business and IT working both ways; e.g. translating new business requirements into adequate IT changes while securing that the changes are properly prioritized and addressed amongst stakeholders within CED (be it functional and/or contractual). You will also:
* Be responsible to negotiate and communicate changes initiated by surrounding services and applications, such as e.g. lifecycle activities driven by hosting services
* Work in close cooperation with our preferred suppliers for which you will partly lead a resolver team of consultants responsible for the daily operations (incident management, problem management et.al.)
* Above also stipulates participation in both pre-studies and projects where you will either lead or drive analysis work. Main focus will usually be on the Torslanda MP&L portfolio but may also apply to other parts of CED if required. We are operating in a global context where some travelling might be required.

To succeed in this role you will have to be self-motivated, inspiring and creative. You need to be self-propelled and driven but at the same time team oriented with a holistic approach and you thrive to work with tasks where there is a possibility to use your problem solving skills. You enjoy working in a global organization and like to take on special assignments outside your daily responsibilities. Also, since you have a passion for change and improvement you need to be strategic, analytical and structured to meet business goals and customer needs. At last you should be curious and eager to understand the context of the applications you work with. This role requires that you get to learn the information flow through several applications all together serving business with a robust and efficient IT environment.
Do you fit the profile?
* University degree in IT/Engineering or experience from relevant field
* Experience from IT governance
* Experience from leading projects or workshops
* Experience in supplier and contract management
* Fluent in both Swedish and English, written as well as spoken
* Team-leading skills
Meritorious
* Experience from manufacturing industry and/or logistics.
* Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches
* ITIL foundation certified
