APPLICATON MANAGEMENT LINE MANAGER SAP AM 9547
The Application Management First line Manager is responsible for all HR activities and all deliveries from the group.
Today the total SAP delivery responsibility is concentrated to one group. In order for us to handle the current responsibility and future growth we need to have an additional SAP AM group. This new SAP AM Group within General Solution will deliver support, maintenance and new development of different SAP solutions mainly in the business administration and logistics area. The group will also be responsible for most of the SAP products within areas such as Integration (XI/PI), BW and Portal.
The SAP AM teams responsibility is to work proactively and deliver cost effective and qualitative SAP solutions with a long term perspective, contributing to the objectives of our customers. It's also important to work in continuous development and focus on common ways of working
Main responsibilities:
• Accountable for quality and cost for all production within the group
• assigned applications and products
• assigned projects
• assigned studies
• HR (recruitments, salary setting, competence development, PBP
• Finance (accountable for budgets and production results)
• countable to reach KPI targets and other performance targets
• Accountable for implementing directives from Global Functional mgrs
• processes and other working methods
• structural changes and sourcing decisions
implementation of competence development plans
• Functional responsibilities are likely to be added to this position
Application Management Line Manager general profile:
Managers within Application Delivery need to have the ability to create an efficient and trustful day-to-day cooperation. Since Application Delivery is a matrix between global functional responsibilities and Application Delivery site responsibilities it is a requirement on every manager in the organisation to actively cooperate in a way that bridges the potential gaps that are inevitable in every matrix organisation. It is also essential that all applicants have a strong quality focus and a personal drive to satisfy customer requests.

• Broad IT background , preferably SAP knowledge
• Leadership excellence
• Have the courage and ability to communicate visions and objectives
• Have capacity to execute against set targets
• Lead through Volvo IT values and to create an attractive workplace

• Ability to establish and maintain good relations with your internal partners
• Good knowledge about your customers business
• Strong communication skills
• Strong language skills in Swedish and English
In this role you will be reporting to the Department Manager, Application Delivery General Solution and be part of the Department Management team.
