Description
The client is looking for an Application Expert with BI solutions and MS SQL server knowledge. As Application Expert, you will maintain and develop the Budget, planning and follow up solutions (13WP2, SYNAPPS).
The role will be a part of the Maintenance team which is based at the clients headoffice.
Work tasks
• Technical analysis of business requirements
• Design & Development of solution improvements
• Version & release handling
• 3rd line support
• Maintenance of the solution/system according to predefined routines
• Support Operations and test teams.
Mandatory competence and experience:
• Hands-on experience of SQL server integration
• Hands-on experience and a solid technical knowledge of SQL and Microsoft BIDS especially SSIS
• Powershell script
• Good understanding of BI Architecture
• Experience with end user support via a helpdesk structure
• Communication skills to "translate" IT matters to Business users
• Good understanding of retail business
• Good understanding of financial controlling process and multidimensional data modelling - MS SQL of advantage
• Good understanding of in-memory cubed BI application of advantage
• Experience in Agile approach to Development
• Good understanding of Release Planning & Scoping
• Experience in system setting configuration
• Experience in module development, implementation and testing
• Experience in MS Office & Sharepoint basic to advance knowledge
• Experience in multi-national, multi-timezone teamwork
Preferred competence and experience:
• Board Toolkit
• Microsoft BIDS (especially SSIS)
• QlikView
• Business Objects
• SQL, T-SQL
Preferred personal qualities:
• Focused and have good ability to deliver
• Enjoy working in an international environment and engage in dialogue with suppliers and end users from different countries and cultures.
