Join our team in a fast-moving environment where you as an Application Expert have a key role in linking together business and technology. You will be working in our application SMaPP which supports the production planning and prognosis business process. Working in this application you will be supporting the global production planning necessary for H&M's vision: to provide fashion & quality at the best price, in a sustainable way.
As an H&M Application Expert you will start with learning and understanding our production planning process as well as the standard corporate performance management platform BOARD that the application is built on. You will work with the whole chain from analyzing the business needs, specifying requirements and all the way to developing and configuring the application. Your work will provide great variety and you will combine working independently with working closely with colleagues from H&M and partners.
The core H&M team is placed in Stockholm, developers in Italy, testers in India whereas stakeholders and end users are mainly located in other parts of Asia. As our Application Expert you will work in an international environment, being the link between business and IT. You will interact with vendors, testers and end users from different countries and with different cultures.
To be successful in this role you need to take own initiatives and work proactively while being supportive and sharing responsibilities within the team. You need to have a drive to learn new things. Furthermore, great communication skills are crucial for this role. We believe you are an analytical person who has a strong interest in understanding logical and complex mathematical challenges. You are also interested in finding technical solutions to business challenges. You are goal oriented, have high delivery capacity, are driven and like working in a dynamic environment.
Your responsibilities
The job of an Application Expert at H&M comes with a lot of responsibility - and lots of fun.
Your to-do list includes:
• Understand possibilities and limitations of the CPM product solution and the application
• Be able to understand the business process which the system supports
• Be able to have a dialogue with business stakeholders and end users
• Analyze requirements and defects and translate this into development (consisting mainly of configurations) on the standard platform.
• Support end-users, with issues that require application expertise
• Development and configuration of the application
• Handle performance reviews, software updates, and release management etc. of the application.
• Communicate with our operations team and handle base loads and restores
• We believe you have university degree or equivalent qualification that you gained through work experience
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience

• Previous experience of developing and configuring in standard products, preferably in other BI- or CPM products (Board International or other)

• An understanding of business in combination with technical competence
• Preferably, previous experience working with offshore
• The right mindset and interest to learn is more important than previous work experience.
The position is full-time and located in Stockholm.
