Find your place in a fast moving environment where you as an Application Expert have a key role within our IT department, supporting the global production planning necessary for H&M's continued strong expansion. You will get the opportunity to work with other talented and experienced team members across the globe.
As an H&M Application Expert you will start with learning and understanding our production planning process as well as the standard CPM (Corporate performance management) platform Board that the application is built on. You will work with the whole chain from analyzing the business need, specify requirements to develop and configure the application. You work both independently and together with H&M colleagues and Board developers. In this role you will also have some responsibility for the system maintenance such as perform restores, base loads and have continuous communication with our operations team.
The Board application (SMaPP) supports the production planning and prognosis business process. The maintenance team is placed in Stockholm, developers in Italy, testers in India whereas stakeholders and end users are mainly located in Asia. As an Application Expert you will therefore work in an international environment, having dialogues with vendors, testers and end users from different countries and with different cultures.
To be successful in this role you need to take own initiatives and work proactively. We believe you are an analytical person that has a strong interest in understanding logical and complex mathematical challenges. You are goal oriented, have high delivery capacity, are driven and like a high pace.

Your responsibilities
The job of an Application Expert at H&M comes with a lot of responsibility - and lots of fun. Your to do-list includes:
• Understand possibilities and limitations of the CPM product solution and the application.
• Be able to understand the business process which the system supports.
• Be able to have a dialogue with business stakeholders and end users.
• Analyze requirements and defects and translate this into development (consisting mainly of configurations) on the standard platform.
• Support end-users, with issues that require application expertise.
• Development and configuration of the application.
• Handle performance reviews, software updates, and release management etc. of the application.
• Communicate with our operations team and handle base loads and restores.

And your skills include:
• Previous experience of developing and configuring in standard products, preferably in other BI- or CPM products (Board International or other).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate about problems and solutions.
• Supportive and open minded to share responsibilities in a small team.
• Analytical mindset and a creative problem solution approach .
• An understanding of business in combination with technical competence.
• Preferably, previous experience working with offshore.
• We believe you have university degree or equivalent qualification that you gained through work experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
