Stora Enso Biorefinery has the task to create new businesses within the forest industry.
We are currently looking for a technical application engineer to join the Stora Enso Biorefinery team.
Application Engineer/Specialist
Description
As application engineer or specialist you will focus on product development of applications in the area of adhesives. You will participate in business development of new products utilizing new and existing infra-structure and raw materials. The application engineer/specialist will be working in cooperation with our business partners, manage and participate in application development projects. You will act like a support for the product to customers and you will work closely with the development department, both in the development stage and in the improvement process. You can combine both theory and practice when solving technical problems, and you have the ability to implement the results in practical work
Requirements
• Master degree in Chemistry, preferably organic chemistry
• 5-10 years' experience from adhesive application development and/or production of phenol based resins
• Experience from technical customer support and a strong customer service orientation
• Proactive attitude, ability to analyze information and take initiatives
• Ability to solve issues quickly with a new approach
• Good team player in international environment (cross-cultural skills)
• Result oriented
• Accurate
• Good communication skills in both verbal and written English, additional languages would be a benefit
• Ability to travel
