Our Advanced Materials team within the Marketing and Product Line Stationary department, is a central hub for supporting portfolio management related to our products in advanced materials: aiming to establish a market leading position, along with increasing sales and providing technical support, training and on-site services. We are now looking for an Application Engineer to join this exciting area - a natural relationship builder who truly enjoys mixing personal interactions with technical expertise.
Your mission
As Application Engineer, you work with our sales organization towards selected customers and selected segments and components - proposing and implementing solutions that create customer value. Your field experience is an important source of business intelligence to us, and you ensure relevant market input to our product management. You participate in product development projects and product introductions, and you share your knowledge and skills through various channels to support and develop others and to help growing our business.
This position requires frequent travel and when not travelling, you are located at our site in Fagersta.
Your character
We are looking for someone with a technical degree, directed towards metal cutting, combined with several years' practical experience from the field. Knowledge and experience of working with advanced materials is beneficial. Since you have a large network in this position, you need excellent written and verbal skills in both Swedish and English. Skills in other languages, such as German or French, are considered advantageous.
Your personality is very important to us. With social competence and an open-minded approach, you easily collaborate and build strong relations in this international environment. You take initiatives, are self-motivated and have the ability to balance many tasks at once - characteristics that enables you to be successful in our business. Your good communication skills also come in handy when interacting with and supporting both stakeholders and co-workers.
