Experis engineering is now looking for an application engineer for a consultant assignment at our client within the automotive industry.
Job description
Your tasks will be systemization of new functionality and to verify already requested features. Verification of functionality is done in vehicles as well as in test rig. Contact with other groups within the systems development organization is done on daily basis to ensure that the function is well integrated into the Scania vehicles and that test diagnosis for the functions works well. Frequent cooperation with the external supplier is also needed.
What are we looking for?
As a person we think that you are a driven and communicative person who is interested in detailed systems work on our vehicles and able to participate in the defining the performance of tomorrow. You take responsibility, have a "can-do" attitude and are a good team player in our agile team.
Competences and skills needed, but are not limited to:
* We seek a person with university degree, Master of Science or equivalent and with relevant work experience.
* You have experience from embedded systems, which includes testing and implementation in C, Matlab and Simulink.
* You have the ability to easily use new computer programs and understand vehicle communication protocols.
* You communicate fluently in Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
* If you have experience of vehicle steering systems, vehicle testing and test planning, it is an advantage.
* The candidate is structured, self-organized, dare to take his own decisions.
* Fluent in English both verbally and in writing
About the assignment
Location: Södertälje
Working hours: Weekdays, office hours
Duration: This assignment starts 2018-04-09 and will be going on until 2018-12-31, extension highly possible for the right person (full time basis).
