We are looking for an Applications Engineer (Design Engineer) to join the Customer Services and Inside Sales team in Falun. The Applications Engineer will be responsible for producing practical design solutions, including support documentation, to meet customer expectations and assembly methods based upon technical specifications provided and/or site survey information.
You will:
• Compile component drawings for manufacture including but not limited to drive shafts, lever arm & linkage assemblies, motor mounting arrangements.
• Compile general arrangements of solutions incorporating the above components with installation details to aid service and end clients with fitment.
• Formulate BOM's within our MRP (GARP).
• Undertake survey and measurement of equipment, typically valves, actuators, pipe work and associated controls intended for customer sites across all industries.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Systems (ISO 9001), Health and Safety, and other legislation.
• Carry out design verification of other Application Engineers work.
Experience Required:
• Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineer.
• Experience of using 3D CAD packages (ideally Solidworks or SolidEdge).
• Experience of working within a heavy engineering organisation ideally with transmission of torques, valves & pumps, HVAC.

• Self-motivated / enthusiastic with good practical skills and thorough approach to work.
