We are currently reinforcing our Application engineering team and we are now looking for an engineer to support our Ventilation and Electronic cooling business areas. The Heatex Application engineering team is international, with resources in several countries. The department responsibility covers design and configuration of heat exchanger solutions and technical support.
Role description
As an Application engineer/specialist with responsibility for technical support to the Ventilation and Electronic cooling market, you will have a broad range of working tasks.
The main tasks will be to support our sales engineers with technical know-how and assist in the business process.
You will also work out application solutions and give technical input to R&D for new and improved products. You need to coordinate with your Application engineering colleagues globally.
With your background, you should be able to prepare technical documentation together with other functions in the company. You should also be able to do internal and external training on our products and solutions.
The role as Application engineer/specialist will require a lot of customer contacts and visits, mainly in Europe and Middle East. You should be prepared to travel around 30-40 days/year.
Qualifications
Master degree in Mechanical engineering, preferably with courses in the field of Energy, or a Bachelor degree combined with at least 10 years of relevant experience
At least 5 years of experience of work in the HVAC industry
Experience of ventilation systems and heating/cooling systems is a plus
Good communication skills and social competence
A great driving force and a business/commercial understanding is a must
