hela Sverige Energy Audits of Sewage pump stations is a recently developed new service that has received a very good interest from the ITT W&WW Sales Companies. To be able to provide qualified support to the sales companies, theBusiness Unit Aftermarket & Service is now searching for a person who will be future HQ expert in sewage pump systems energy analysis.
The position is located to the Business Unit Aftermarket & Service, but it is shared 50/50 with the application department of the Business Unit Transport.
Job Description
The Application Engineer - Energy Audits will be the main responsible person for the Energy Audits support to the sales companies. As Energy Audits is new service, the development will continue another few years, he/she will participate as a technical expert in these development activities.
The Application Engineer - Energy Audits will also be a general sewage pump System Engineering expert and participate 50% of the available time in the daily application support activities to the sales companies.
Typical tasks:
• Support the sales companies making Energy Audits in sewage pump station with advices regarding measuring technique, data collection, analysis and recommendations.
• Develop instructions, templates and tools for the Energy Audits.
• Provide training to sales company personnel doing Energy Audits on site and making analysis of the collected data.
• Support the sales companies in sales projects by making analysis of pump system characteristics, give advices and select the best pump for the task.
• Support the sales companies and give recommendations for energy efficient sewage pump system solutions in sales projects.
• Support on-site when sales company competence is insufficient
Required experience and Knowledge
You have a university degree in Engineering and 3-5 years experiences from pumps and pump systems. You are fluent in English, both spoken and written. Other languages are appreciated.
Personal Qualities
You are service minded, able to listen and understand the situation in the sales company. You are also practical and can participate on-site making the audits when necessary.
You are able to analyze complex systems and find cost effective solutions. Your ability to build networks and communicate in an inter-cultural environment is also important when you explain your recommended solutions to the sales companies or direct to the customer if necessary.
You are ready to travel world wide, in some cases on short notice
