The Powertrain Control Systems Development department and the Electrical and Hybrid Technology department are responsible for the components, functions, features and the testing in the area of electrified trucks and buses.
Now we are looking for a Application Engineer for Hybrid and Electrified System Functionality.
Your work assignments
The role as Application Engineer comprises the following tasks among others: Overall you will work within the area of Charging control, Cooling control and Electrified auxiliaries. The main task will be to assist vehicle start up, various tests and expeditions and at the same time perform first ECU & SW Testing. You will have the opportunity to do practical SW application and parameter optimization in the vehicles. You will contribute to overall vehicle SW implementation. With your help we will support both internal and external customers. Failure handling and root cause analysis will be done by using Vector Tools like CANalyzer / CANoe.
You will work within a highly motivated and inspiring Team, using an agile approach and have the chance to contribute to the whole idea of electrification as well as work with the technical details of our future solutions.
Your profile
We are looking for engineers with an interest in new technologies in sustainable transport. As you will represent and work with embedded systems functionality and SW applications we see that you have experience within SW development, including state of the art Tools and Methods such as Matlab Simulink, Stateflow and C. Ideally you know about the automotive industry processes. Driving license C and/or D are credible.
