www.albint.com.For our client, we are looking for an Application Engineer Dryer Fabrics for the European market.
Work description
You will work as a technical support to the sales force in the whole of Europe. Your main tasks will consist of:
• Technical dryer application and design in the region/area that will be chosen.
• Initiate service actions and support by product related customer situation like dryer fabric seaming, product irregularities and fast dryer condition evaluation.
• Give and prepare technical presentations to customers.
• Be involved in the making and translation of sales support material and technical articles.
• Be a part of the European Dryer Fabrics Technical organization.
The main part of the work is to be carried out in central Europe and the field will be covering most European countries. However, the targeted location will be in Germany and the office work is done through home office principle. Actual candidate must move to and/or live in Germany.
There will be approximately 100 days of travelling on an annual base.
Organization
The Application Engineer reports to Roger Möller, Product Director Dryer Fabrics Europe, located in Helsinki, Finland.
Candidate profile
We are looking for a practical person with a hands-on mentality and with knowledge of papermaking. Your education background consists preferably of a B.Sc in a technical area like chemistry, mechanical etc. or another equivalent education, for instance a papermaking degree.
Good language skills are needed, fluency in English and German is a must. All other languages are beneficial.
In addition, you need to have good, solid computer knowledge, e.g. Excel and PPT, etc.
This work also requires occasionally heavy physical measurements to be carried out.
