You will be working in an IT department responsible for all engineering applications within GKN Aerospace Engines System in Trollhättan Sweden. We are facing an exciting future due to increasing need of improved engineering capabilities, which is a key driver for our company success.
Responsibilities:
Work with both internal and external customers to understand business requirements.
Document functional and technical specifications.
Design, develop and maintain software solutions with associated integrations between new and existing solutions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships
University degree in Computer Science or Engineering with a substantial computer science component, or relevant experience.
Fully proficient in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
Experience in using Microsoft .NET technologies and SQL Server.
Experience in using Fortran is an asset.
Ability to work both in teams and independently.
Ability to understand customer needs and transfer them into solutions.
Ability to work in an IT environment with a large span of maturity (from legacy to the future).
Analytical and logical mind-set with attention to details.
