Volvo IT needs to strengthen the team of Application Developers with focus on industrial IT solutions within Volvo. We develop global applications that are used at many different factories throughout Volvo. Our solutions are highly integrated with the shop-floor in the factory as well as with the industrial workers day to day activities.
As an Application Developer, you carry out detailed design, construction, unit testing, integrations etc. You will get the possibility to work with different companies within the Volvo Group and also external companies. If you have the ambition to become a Software- or Integration Architect in the future, that can also be supported by the organization.
Qualifications and skills:
In addition to the above description you:
have the power of initiative and driving force
have documented experience of assignments in .NET, Java or VMS development
good knowledge of all aspects of the software engineering process
General qualifications and skills:
An academic educational background
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
Proven leadership skills with considerable social competence
Driving license - class B
International experience will be considered an advantage
