Database administrator
We are looking for an Application Database Administrator for our development projects at Volvo Group Telematics.
You will, for example, support the development project with ILM-strategies, high availability solutions, optimize reporting tools etc.
Main competences required:
For this position you need to have experience in Oracle 10/11, Oracle RAC, Oracle Streams and knowledge from high availability design. You have experience from assignments in projects as an application database administrator and information lifecycle management strategies. Also you need to understand infrastructure. Experience from telecom and vehicle industry is an advantage.
The general qualifications are that you have an adequate academic qualification and that you are a communicative team-player with a proactive mind-set and flexible in your way of working. You have deep skills in documentation and you have to have the ability establish and maintain good relations and also have the ability to work in global, multi-cultural organization. You also have to be proficient in both spoken and written English and preferably Swedish.
