Are you into automation, an organized team player with an interest in the pulp and paper industry? We are eager to find you to strengthen our application and software team for delivering and upgrading dedicated system solutions for the pulp and paper industry. You will become a member of the Pulp & Paper team in Stockholm. We are part of the business Industrial Automation within ABB. The Pulp & paper team promotes dedicated system solutions for the pulp and paper industry and our goal is to provide the Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish market with standardized products and solutions. Our customers form the base industry with the forest as a sustainable raw material. The team is specialized in quality measurements and controls of the paper properties across the customer product portfolio; pulp, paper, tissue and board. Our end customer is the process and production organization, the heart and soul of the customer operations. Our delivery package both hardware and software with services, such as configuration, installation and commissioning. We also provide advanced services in a service agreement frame-work or as stand-alone consultancy services.TasksThe position is a fantastic opportunity for you to utilize your interest in automation and programming with hands-on customer close solutions. You will have a large technical responsibility for the success of our delivery.Your main tasks will be: Technical owner of the quality control system application in delivery projects and upgrades, which is an integrated part of ABB-s automation platform 800xAApplication and software configuration and adaption, as well as functional testsParticipating in all check points in the delivery process and responsible for installation and commissioning of the application and software at customer siteCreating, documenting and maintaining standards for the application and softwareTroubleshooting and supporting installed base Requirements You have a Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering or has the equivalent work experience. It is important that you have a genuine technical interest with a base in automation and related programming, such as function block programming and high-level structured text (Pascal-like) programming. Knowledge regarding communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus and OPC is beneficial.Your interest towards pulp and paper industry is highly valued. It is meritorious if you have worked with quality control systems earlier but is it not a must.Proficiency in English and Swedish is a requirement, both spoken and written. As a person you are organized, a good team player and has a systematic approach to troubleshooting. Since travelling is required for the role you need to have a Swedish B-drivers license.
