We are part of a business unit within the Industrial Automation division of ABB. The unit promotes dedicated system solutions for the pulp and paper industry and our goal is to provide the Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish market with standardized products and solutions. Our customers form the base industry with the forest as a sustainable raw material.The team is specialized in quality measurements and controls of the paper properties all across the customer product portfolio; pulp, paper, tissue and board. Our final end customer is the process and production organization, the heart and soul of the customer operations. Our delivery package both hardware and software with services, such as configuration, installation and commissioning. We also provide advanced services in a service agreement frame-work or as stand-alone consultancy services.TasksThe position is a fantastic opportunity for you to utilize your interest in automation and programming with hands-on customer close solutions. You will have a large technical responsibility for the success of our delivery.Your main tasks will be:* Technical owner of the quality control system application in delivery projects and upgrades, which is an integrated part of ABB-s automation platform 800xA* Application and software configuration and adaption, as well as functional tests * Participating in all check points in the delivery process and responsible for installation and commissioning of the application and software at customer site* Creating, documenting and maintaining standards for the application and software * Trouble shooting and supporting installed baseRequirementsYou have a Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering or has the equivalent work experience.It is important that you have a genuine technical interest with a base in automation and related programming, such as function block programming and high-level structured text (Pascal-like) programming. Knowledge regarding communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus and OPC is beneficial.Your interest towards pulp and paper industry is highly valued. It is meritorious if you have worked with quality control systems earlier but is it not a must.Proficiency in English and Swedish is a requirement, both spoken and written.As a person you are organized, a good team player and has a systematic approach to troubleshooting.
