hela Sverige This role as Application and Product Security Expert at Verisure will play a key part in our continuous efforts to deliver world-class secure applications and services.
You will be reporting directly to the Nordic Information Security Manager and be responsible to drive the application security initiatives across a broad area of technologies and components. This varying from web clients, mobile applications to embedded systems and radio-controlled products that our customers use to protect their home and families. On top of that you will be working continuously with Application Security analysis and threat modelling of our products and services.
Among your day to day work you will proactively enhance and tune our Application Security approach as new threats emerge. You will review, analyze and select various tools and systems to support a secure development.
There will be opportunities for you to have a great impact and help us develop the future within security as you will be working proactively with developing the way we approach application security.
You will be working within a global team which requires that you are a problem solver ready to work with critical issues and provide the right data, at the right time to enable high quality. As part of this role, you will be working with experts from all aspects of our business and regional third parties, far beyond a role of just dealing with corporate applications.

The position is based in Malmö, our bright and open office space is just a 5-minute walk from the Central Station, easy accessible and a great location. Limited travelling is a natural part of this position, with destinations within all of Europe.
What you bring
We are looking for someone that can, together with the development teams, identify risks in designs, discuss secure implementation approaches, and help design test-sessions with security in mind.

penetration testing
secure implementation best practices
vulnerability assessments
When not helping the development-organization be the best they can be, you will have time to revisit existing solutions, and investigate if security controls are still living up to their expectations.
A continuous curiosity is necessary to make sure to stay on top of emerging risks and vulnerabilities to test out. To be successful, you are a strong team player with passion for and vast experience in analysis, design and review of security matters in the area of consumer products and services, including hardware elements. Along with this you will need to have significant drive, an analytical mindset with the ability to anticipate risk and creatively resolve bottlenecks.
