For our customer we are looking for a Application Project Manager. Serving as Application Project Manager for the Swedish business, forms part-of, and coordinates with European IT teams and local business analysts to translate specifications into new or enhanced application solutions.
Demonstrates knowledge of operating systems, database packages (SQL), HTML, PHP, programming languages, basic systems analysis techniques, testing, debugging and documentation standards.
Maintains peer relationships with European IT organisation to support local business.
Essential Responsibilities:
Technical expert supporting the customer business on the FastNet and Visma applications, in addition to other related application platforms. Responsible for local application lifecycle management, including maintenance, upgrades, deployment, client side activity, working within a matrixed team. Coordinates with European IT teams to ensure applications utilize current platforms and technologies. Participate in planning sessions in order to analyse business requirements. Provide consultation regarding technologies, identifying innovation, simplification or productivity opportunities. Execute development tasks including third party integration, changes to custom scripts, and configuration of the application platform technologies. Ensure 3rd party technical designs meet compliance to organization standards. Provide L2 support for local applications, troubleshooting production, development and/or integration issues. Create and maintain high quality technical documentation.
General responsibilities may also include:
Maintain Vendor relationships with local vendors, to include application as well as other IT vendors. Provide sourcing support for IT related products and services. Provide IT escalation contact for regional Asset Management team L3 Helpdesk escalation for local sites in Sweden Qualifications/Requirements - Internal
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with 2+ years information technology systems maintenance experience (or in lieu of degree, a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of information technology system maintenance experience)
Minimum 1 year experience in application and software management
Minimum 1 year experience with HTTP, SQL, IIS, Oracle, and n-tier application design
Minimum 1 year experience with system administrative duties for enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, including installation, configuration and troubleshooting of the systems
Minimum 1 year experience with execution of multiple simultaneous projects Swedish/English Speaking
Familiarity with ITIL/COBIT.
Desired Characteristics:
2+ years of system administration and development experience with FastNet and/or Visma applications
Possesses problem solving and analytical skills
Project management skills and execution of multiple simultaneous and/or large projects
Strong technical skills with a capacity to quickly understand new concepts and analyze system deficiencies
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve
Ability to drive productivity and process improvements
Strong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
