The department for Business Applications within our IT function develops and runs applications for Sandvik Coromant and Sandvik Machining Solutions. To ensure successful integration of systems across our business, we are strengthening the Integration Governance Function and are now looking for an API Designer to join us in an innovative area with leading technology development of solutions, applications and new business models. This important role comes with great potential for development and the possibility to take part in shaping the role yourself.
In this position, you are located in Sandviken.
Your mission
In this position, you have a central role in most of our IT projects and in connecting processes and data. You contribute to the maturity and development of our API offerings and, in collaboration with the implementation teams, you design and maintain both legacy and new Enterprise Integration schemas. You handle change requests towards systems such as SAP and Information Warehouse, and internal investigation requests from the organization by supporting and guiding in the Enterprise Integration process. Maintenance of the API Registry, quality control, documentation and creating guidelines are also important keys in this position to create synergies and enable development and reuse.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with at least three years' experience from IT integrations and Information Architecture within a large and preferably international organization, and solid experience from working in IT projects. Since we act both locally and on a global stage, you have excellent skills in English and Swedish, written and verbal.

Being strategic and flexible, you navigate successfully in a cross-functional environment and you view your work from an overall perspective. You combine confidence and a strong business acumen to create trust and influence others, and by understanding complex technology matters and utilizing your good communication skills, you share and present information in ways to ensure everyone is on board. Furthermore, you have an analytical mind and a strong drive in reaching results.
