Are you Senior Antenna Engineer with a passion new technology within automotive?
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Technical Expert to work with cross functional Antenna Development and Research within Volvo Cars.
About us
Antenna Team in Gothenburg Sweden are the central point of global antenna development and research within Volvo Cars and Geely Group. Our responsibility is spreading in many areas such as entertainment Bluetooth, WIFI, FM/DAB radio, V2X, traffic information/toll collection system and different research projects related to new technologies.
What will you do
As Technical Expert you will drive activities within Antenna Team that adds value to Volvo Cars and the end customers. Acting as a mentor, "go to person" for advice and input. Run research project in different car projects and technologies (Advanced Engineering). Support within strategy definition, staking out the future for new Antenna development.
Be able to provide feedback with proposed solutions to business partners influencing product/system specification and policy, steer process changes requirements to business partner and suppliers. Have a holistic view by actively acquiring input on new trends.
You and your skills
Multiple years of experience as an RF Engineer, Solutions Architect, Extensive knowledge of RF products and systems, including design principles for antenna systems ranging from FM to 5G GHz
