hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Imagination Studios AB i Uppsala Imagination Studios is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Animation Supervisor to join our team for a six-month contract to work on a high profile project for our client - Avalanche Studios.
As the Animation Supervisor you will need to be an exceptionally strong key-framer capable of animating to a realistic, slightly stylised aesthetic. You will also need to be capable of motion editing to a very high professional standard.
For this position you will need to provide strong, clear direction and feedback to the animation team, aligned with the expectations of the client?s Animation Director.
You will also be expected to animate sequences that require both key-framing and the use of motion capture. This will be mainly human animation and may also include animal and vehicle animation.
This role requires you to offer close support and mentorship to the animation team, maintaining styling through feedback and revisions and ensuring that our client?s high quality standards are achieved.
You will also be working very closely with our Cinematics Lead and Producers in order to identify challenges and propose solutions towards the delivery of believable and exciting sequences in a timely and efficient manner.
As Animation Supervisor you will be expected to take on a very high amount of responsibility and contribute on many levels.
Required qualifications
• Must be an experienced Animation Supervisor/Animation Director/ Lead Animator on at least 1 published AAA game , TV or film project
• Must be a highly skilled Animator who can demonstrate observational skills coupled with a strong understanding of weight distribution and pacing/timing
• Must be a highly accomplished motion editor i.e. well versed at retiming, reposing and over-keying mocap data
• Must be highly skilled at providing feedback, mentorship and delegating/ organising workloads for a team of at least 6 Animators
• Experience in motion-editing and animating in MotionBuilder
• Experience creating cinematic sequences in MotionBuilder
• Must have a very keen eye for detail
• Minimum of 8 years of experience working as an Animator in the CGI industry
• Must be highly organised, focused and proactive
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• A very positive attitude
• A dedicated team-player
Desired qualifications
• Experience directly liaising with client in a production environment
• Experience working with Story Mode in MotionBuilder
• Experience with facial animation pipelines
• Accomplished knowledge of cinematography
• Experience working directly with either/all of the following; Clients, Motion Capture Leads, and Artists in a production and service oriented environment.
