Nu Creatives client is an award-winning games developer creating online video slot machines for the gambling and social gaming audience. The team has years of experience, a burning passion for gaming and a love for gambling, and they care about and respect their players.
Their headquarter is located in Stockholm, in a light and comfortable office space in the centre of the city. On their behalf, we are now looking for an Animation & FX Artist, to join their team.
The Job
As an Animation & FX Artist, you will be working with in-game animations and FX, creating experiences gamers will appreciate and love. You will be part of a small agile team and work in close collaboration with artists and programmers, and together you will work on methods to improve the overall animation pipeline. The company provides an open and inspired environment where all voices matter.
Who Are You?
Besides a big interest in animation, you need:
• Excellent skills in 2D character animation and FX
• The ability to communicate attitude, emotions and mood through a character?s movement and behaviour
• A creative, imaginative and curious mindset
• An interest in technology, computer graphics and gaming
• The ability to produce animations in a variety of styles
• Knowledge about different animation and optimization techniques to meet memory limitations
• The ability to understand the possibilities and limitations of the technology we use
• Great communication and collaboration skills
• The ability to deliver high quality animations in an agile, iterative working environment where pace is high and all voices matter
We also value
• 3D animation experience
• Some knowledge of programming, AE scripting or similar
