Atrogi AB is a small, Swedish Biotech company established in 2013. We are developing novel treatments for different metabolic disorders.
Your responsibilities
• Primarily conduct in vivo experiments which includes
rodent handling
blood sampling
administration via i.p, i.v, s.c and oral gavage
performing appropriate pharmacodynamic experiments
• Assist and perform various laboratory experiments such as
Tissue embedding, cutting, and staining
qPCR and Western blot
• Maintain laboratory equipment & perform general monitoring.
• Interact and collaborate with different project leaders at the company
• Record data and analyze results with accuracy and responsibility
Your profile
• Relevant education in biological sciences
• Required to have experience in experimental procedures in rodents, including holding a FELASA certificate
• Meritorious to have experience from surgical procedures in rodents
• Highly motivated to keep updated about animal welfare legislation
• Experience with laboratory experimental procedures is a requirement.
• It's meritorious to have experience from histology, qPCR and/or western blot.
• Good team working skills and ability to work autonomously
• Ability to work in a calm and methodically way at time constraint
• Experience from biotechnology /drug development industry is meritorious
• Communication skills in English.
