THIS IS US, YOUR NEW COLLEAGUES
We in the Test Automation & Verification Framework group are working hard to establish a reliable verification and validation framework that enables continuous delivery of the systems developed at Connectivity.
We are also responsible for the test automation at the different levels of the verification chain for Connectivity products. And now we are looking for a person with a solid experience in Python development. The person should not only have used Python for simple scripting tasks, but have used Python in the development of at least one larger codebase. If the person has experience in developing backend systems in another language than Python, it is acceptable.
We have an agile mindset and plan our daily tasks using Scrum. We are supporting Agile Release Trains that develop the infotainment/entertainment unit. On the average work week there are many reprioritizations and moving targets since the most important aim for the team is to keep the verification framework and test automation up and running. We are fun loving, curious professionals who easily get into technical discussions and try to come up with ideas how to improve. We are also constantly challenged with exciting opportunities for personal and professional growth and experience.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Develop python components that are used in the verification framework.
Develop data processing flows to verify requirements.
Work in a Scrum team and support SAFe release trains.
Contribute to the design and long-term vision of the verification framework.
Support those who write automated tests for end-user functions.
Drive innovative solutions to automation challenges
WHO ARE YOU? (KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE):
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar technical field of study or equivalent work experience.
Several years of experience in verification of Embedded System.
Hands-on experience with test rigs and similar environments.
Experience from Entertainment or Telematics development. With solid experience in writing unit and integration tests; having experience in mocking external dependencies such as databases and APIs is very meriting.
• Experience from Agile development and have a solid understanding of system design, software architecture and good software engineering practices.
• Knowledge within Embedded Systems test methods and tools (e.g. CANalyzer and CANoe or similar)
Knowledge within Continuous Integration tools e.g. Jenkins, Stash/Bit-bucket, Artifactory, GIT, ClearQuest, JIRA
• Have worked with continuous integration and delivery.
• Be able to drive a software development project forward and take on responsibility that extends beyond just implementing code.
