Rebtel has released a VoIP SDK for iOS and Android that makes it possible to build in voice calls in all sort of apps. Now mobile developers are able to add voice calls free of charge in e.g. gaming apps, social apps, B2B and dating apps. This SDK will help a lot of app developers to make their own products much more attractive in an easy way, without having to develop the IP-telephony themselves.
The Job
Working with test at Rebtel means that you are part of a very experienced and dedicated R&D team. Our customers are dear to us and as a part of the test team working at Rebtel you need to make sure that we continue deliver the high quality that has made us loved by our customers.
We are looking for a developer with test skills that can help us verify and deliver our SDK (Software Development Kit) to be used in Android applications. You will be a part of our SDK team consisting of developers, testers, product/sales reps. Your responsibilities will be planning, developing of test automation, and specifying the test activities to ensure good quality of the SDK. The R&D team is very agile and is now aiming for Continuous integration and therefor the test automation is super important for us. The challenge you will face is to do that in a high paced, constantly changing, low margin environment. However, you will not be alone. Your Rebtel colleagues care and will support you in your strive to deliver.
Your Profile
To fit in you need to have professional skills in Java development and a great interest in QA work. Experience from the "TestNG" framework would be great. You also need to be experienced in unit testing and test automation. Experiences in functional and non-functional testing are also required.
If you have developed or tested SDK's for 3 party users or have an app on Google Play we'll be thrilled!
Either you have graduated or you are self taught. You have a great track record of results, either academic, hobby projects or work. Your drive to know more and do better makes you evolve. You know how to balance the need for speed with the demand for quality.
Even though we are a Swedish based company we work in an international environment. Our customers are spread out over the world and many of our employees are from outside Sweden. Therefore you need excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. If you know Swedish it is a great bonus.
