Since early 2000 we have supported our clients on a vast number of projects, all over the world. Our consultant pool consists of Swedish and non Swedish consultants within the fields of embedded systems telecommunication, online solutions and application development. Now we are looking for new candidates to come work with us as consultants, on-site with our customers in Sweden.
As an Android Developer within core software at one of the major telecom companies in Sweden, you will be part of an innovative team with colleagues in Sweden, China and Japan. This is a highly experienced team working with planning, design, implementation and verification of software components that will be used in future mobile devices. The team is also responsible for support and maintenance of existing software.
You are a passionate and innovative embedded software developer with experience in Android Services, Android Frameworks Base, Linux, platform development, device drivers, kernel and debugging.
Requested competence (please make sure this is documented in your CV)
• ) BS/MS in computer science or equivalent experience
• ) Professional or documented C/C++ programming skills
• ) Professional or documented Java programming skills
• ) Experience in Android Frameworks Base and/or Android Services
• ) Experience in platform development and debugging
• ) Good communication skills and a team player
• ) Innovative, enthusiastic and self-driven problem solver and eager to learn
• ) Good English, spoken and written

Start: winter 2013 / 2014.
Duration: 12-24 months in site in Sweden, with a high probability for extension.
Extent: Full-time, 40h/week. Paid overtime can be requested by the customer.
Compensation: Negotiable. We offer a competitive salary, primarily in the form of a longterm employment and according to Swedish standards; governmental pension plan, five weeks paid vacation, iPad/laptop, mobile phone with data plan subscription, priority medical care insurance, health care insurance, income level insurance, work liability insurance, language course support, sports activity contribution. Paid transfer to Sweden including registered partner and children. When applicable, family members will get permit to live and work in Sweden.
For Schengen-citizens, there is also an option to undertake the assignment as a subcontractor to Telescope.
