Polestar is blazing a new trail, dedicating ourselves to the development and refinement of electric vehicle performance. Your experience as an Android Automotive Systems Engineer in our ConX Software Infotainment Team would be invaluable to us as we develop software for the infotainment system in our electric vehicles.
This position is located at our HQ, in Gothenburg. We understand that work-life balance isn't easy, and of course, welcome our employees to work flexible hours and from home a couple of days per week if needed. We believe in empowerment.
What you'll do
ConX (Connected eXperience) Infotainment Software Platform, a part of the Polestar Software and Electronics Department, is a team with a mission to deliver continuous improvements to our customers' infotainment systems. The team consists of UX developers, systems engineers and dev-ops + end-to-end testers. You will work together with your team, UX design teams, cloud engineers, and with Polestar's partner companies, to bring about Connected-Car, Charging, and Performance Solution applications.

You're not afraid to try new approaches and out of the box methods. You have a holistic view, including vision, business, and customers. You are a fast learner and are not afraid of addressing tough challenges.
To be successful in this role, we believe you have:
• Relevant technical education and background
• Take ownership for the team's deliveries
• Can give and receive constructive code reviews
• Have an open mind about different Agile Processes and can help the team adapt its ways of working
• You enjoy learning new skills, languages, and toolsets
• Communicative and collaborative
• Have strong English skills (Swedish is a bonus)

• AIDL/HIDL
• Java, Kotlin, C++, Gradle, Make, CMake, Jetpack Compose, etc
• Linux, Docker
• DevOps, Gerrit, Git, Jenkins,
• Android & Android Lifecycle, Android Studio & Build Tools, ADB, etc
