Well, this position could be exactly what you are dreaming of: we are currently looking for an Analytics Manager in our Operations Development organization.
What is Operations, and our Operations Development organization?
Operations is the part of Axis' organization that is responsible for industrializing, supplying, and distributing our products. Today we are more than 400 colleagues working within Operations: our vision is to make a smarter, safer world a reality!
Based in Lund, we interact with other Axis departments, such as IT, R&D and Sales, and a worldwide network of customers, distributors, suppliers, manufacturing partners, and our configuration and logistics centers.
Apart from delivering what is needed in today's market, we are currently working hard to prepare for the significant growth projected in the coming years. We are on a journey into an even more digitalized world, and this does not only include harnessing digitalization in general, but also fine-tuning our global footprint and supplier relations as well as improving and developing our processes.
In Operations Development we develop and improve operations and our global supply chain, both internally and externally. Our work is often recognized by long term and strategic focus, cross functional change management, IT and digital initiatives, and innovation.
An important part of our Operations Development team and our digitalization strategy is our colleagues working with analytics and business intelligence, supporting our operations organization with tools and ways of working for increased efficiency, and intelligent and fast decision making in our end-to-end value chain.
What will you do and who is your future team?
In the Operations Development team, we are now forming a new dedicated team around our colleagues that work with analytics and business intelligence. As the Analytics Manager you will be managing a team of 5-8 skilled and creative colleagues. People and personal development are key for our success at Axis: you will be responsible for growing the team and the individuals.
Further, you will be responsible for
* Supporting the Operations organization with QlikSense development for increased efficiency and intelligent and fast decision making in our value chain.
* Becoming even more proactive together with our line organizations and cross functional areas, in finding the right solutions from a digital perspective, to support our goals and strategies in the future.
* In co-operation with Operations, IT, and our Business Intelligence teams - together shaping our future strategy regarding data management, data warehousing and business logic.
* Together with other parts of Operations and IT - build a strong structure for ownership and responsibilities, that minimize risk and increase efficiency.
* Innovating within analytics related to Big Data.
You will work closely with other managers and colleagues in Operations, to fully understand their issues, create, and implement strategies for change, and turn potential into performance.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a B.Sc., but preferably M.Sc., most likely from Industrial Engineering & Management, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, or a similar background.
You have at least 5 years of professional and general management and leadership experience, preferably in a supply chain context.
You have a proven track record of developing and managing teams, unleashing the full potential and creativity in the team and its members.

Axis' business is truly global, and some international travelling will be expected.
