hela Sverige Modis Life Science is now looking for an Analytical Scientist to AstraZeneca in Gothenburg. Please, note that this is a consultancy position and you will be hired by Modis. The assignment will initially run for 9 months. Send your application no later than February 28th.
About the assignment:
Inhalation Product Development (IPD) at AstraZeneca is a multinational organization that combines decades of experience in inhalation technology whether it is nebulization, pMDI or DPI. Our vision is to develop and provide to patients best-in-class, innovative and sustainable products to deliver medicine via inhalation.
We 're looking for a talented and motivated Analytical Scientist to join our Analytical Sciences team working with characterization of small inhaled molecules within IPD in Gothenburg.
You would join a highly collaborative team and help us deliver the analytical science to progress product development. To be successful in this role you will need a strong scientific background with good skills in written and verbal communication and the ability to engage and collaborate across boundaries with a positive problem-solving attitude and delivery focus. This is a lab-based role where you will work collaboratively with colleagues, documenting your experiments carefully and to the right quality. You will get the opportunity to apply your excellent analytical expertise to the drug projects you are working in, contributing to the progression of these projects and drive the scientific development within the field of analytical science at AstraZeneca.
Required qualifications, Skills and Experience:
o University degree (MSc) in relevant discipline, with 1-2 years industry experience
o Scientific knowledge within analytical science and technically skilled to use chromatography and detection of small molecules
o Experience in characterization techniques used for inhaled products, such as impactor analysis
o Experience with method development and validation
o Experience from working and communicating within a global project environment
o Experience with solving technical challenges and problems
o Experience of work according to GLS
o Experience of working in a GMP environment
o Strong ambition to develop yourself and others
