Octapharma has a global reputation for blood plasma expertise. Within our QC departments we perform a large variety of analytical controls on our high quality human protein products. We are now looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Analytical Method Specialist who wants to join our multidisciplinary and multicultural team in order to manage method validation projects.
Proven experience within various analytical techniques is a must. As we are a multicultural team supporting all Octapharma sites fluency in English is essential. Further languages are beneficial. Experience in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment is an advantage.
The job
As a part of our multidisciplinary team you will be responsible for conducting method validation projects covering a variety of analytical methods. Your main responsibilities will include the following:
• Planning and managing of complex validation projects for various analytical techniques
• Independent compilation of method validation protocols and reports in accordance with the current guidelines and Pharmacopoeias
• Evaluation of analytical results within the validation projects including the use of statistical tools
• Life cycle management of method validations
• Support of the analytical labs and help with troubleshooting
• Involvement during Audits and Inspections
The ideal candidate
• Master degree in chemistry, biochemistry (or equivalent)
• Experience in method validation
• Very good knowledge of statistical data evaluation including outlier tests, trend tests, equivalence test and TOST
• HPLC expert and preferably experience with various other analytical techniques such as immunoassays, chemical analyses and microbiological tests
• Good knowledge of the Pharmacopoeias and international guidelines
• Project Management experience is a plus
As part of our Octapharma corporate Method Validation Team you will be driving validation projects in different countries thus you have to be an open communicator and sensitive in dealing with different cultures. Furthermore you have to be fluent in English. Swedish and/or other languages (especially German or French) are considered a plus.
As we are a supporting function it is very important that you have a service oriented personality. To be able to fulfill your tasks within the defined timeframes you also have to be able to work independently and self-driven.
