Are you familiar with techniques such as LC, LC-MS, GC, GC-MS, NMR and have experience in method qualification and method validation? For our customer in Stockholm we are now looking to hire analytical chemists. This is a chance for you to lead and perform research and development in various types of advanced chemical/pharmaceutical projects. You will be a part of an experienced team and have the opportunity to share your knowledge and experiences with dedicated co-workers as well as learning new skills.
The position is a consult assignment based in the south of Stockholm and is planned to start in August or September with the duration of 9 month. There is a good chance for the right person to be directly employed at the company.

Job description
As analytical chemist, you will be responsible for providing our projects with important analytical information to support both development and manufacturing projects. As we have a varied project portfolio there is little routine work. Typical tasks include quality testing of raw materials, intermediates, and products and development of appropriate methods to support the development of the chemical synthesis of various products. You may also perform analytical investigations to e.g. to clarify product distribution in complex matrices. Thorough documentation of methods and results as well as reporting of analytical investigations is also an integral part of your job. As a part of our project teams you will work closely with our chemists and engineers.
Our clients core business is the design and development of chemical and pharmaceutical processes (many of which are GMP processes) from starting materials to finished product.
Qualifications
The right candidate has an academic degree in analytical or organic chemistry, or another relevant chemical science area and preferably experience from industrial research and development. You are experienced in several analytical techniques, e.g. LC, LC-MS, GC, GC-MS, NMR covering method development, method qualification and method validation. You have documented experience, and enjoy, working hands-on in the laboratory contributing with advanced analytical chemistry problem solving in chemical and pharmaceutical development projects. You must speak and write English fluently. A good knowledge of Swedish is a clear advantage.
